AYETEK Wind, a Joint Venture between the Turkish company AYETEK Energy and the German wind turbine producer Wind Technik Nord in order to manufacture 250 kW wind turbines in Turkey gets award for “ Best Energy Investment ”.
The annual award ceremony was organized by Vizyon Magazine in cooperation with Konya Şeker, one of the top 50 industrial companies of Turkey, where a total of 450.000 public votes have been registered to determine the winners. Next to AYETEK Wind, Ahmet Davutoğlu (Minister of Foreign Affairs) has been elected as the best Member of Parliament and Recep Konuk has been elected as the best Businessman of the year 2011.
During his speech, which was broadcasted live on national television, Ekrem Karaçalı (COO of AYETEK Wind) stated that AYETEK Wind is just the beginning of a journey where they want to transfer technology from Europe to Turkey. Karaçalı also stated that this award is proof that Turkey appreciates highly educated people remigrating from abroad to Turkey.
